DMR Construction Services is proud to announce the successful completion of Blu Livingston in Livingston, New Jersey - a full-scale transformation of a former Olive Garden restaurant into a modern, upscale dining destination from Blu Hospitality Group.

The project included extensive design-build coordination and complete interior and exterior reconstruction, fully reimagining the existing property with new architectural features, upgraded infrastructure, state of the art kitchen and bar equipment, and high-end hospitality finishes throughout.  From structural modifications that elevated the building’s exterior presence to custom imported Italian materials and specialty interior installations, Blu Livingston was designed to deliver an elevated guest experience from every angle.

DMR’s scope included full demolition and rebuilding of the facility, redesigned outdoor dining areas with an operable pergola, site improvements and ADA accessibility upgrades, imported Italian tile façade, custom storefront elements, upgraded kitchen utilities, and a fully renovated interior featuring custom lighting, bar systems, banquet areas, wine displays, and premium finishes throughout.

The completed restaurant now stands as a signature addition to Blu Hospitality Group’s portfolio and a standout hospitality destination in Livingston.  The project reflects DMR’s ability to deliver complex design-forward renovations with a strong focus on craftsmanship, coordination, and attention to detail.
